Ian Stokes-Rees is a computational scientist at Anaconda. He has worked in the field of grid and cloud computing for the past decade and consulted in the area of large scale data modelling, processing, analytics and visualization. His primary interest is in developing software and systems to facilitate federated collaborative computing by leveraging front end web interfaces and back end cloud and HPC resources. Previously, Ian was affiliated with Harvard University, where he worked at Harvard Medical School in the lab of Dr. Piotr Sliz, addressing issues in computational structural biology, and at the School of Engineering and Applied Science as a high-performance computing consultant and as a lecturer in the Institute of Applied Computation and Engineering.
